Reebeez builds lightweight, powerful engines for drones to increase flight times and endurance for drones and robots by a factor of 6. Their engine uses a novel design and approach, combining high-temperature thermoelectrics with a lightweight microcombustor, which is built with novel orifice designs, 3D printed and CNC machined parts, and achieves stable arrays of flames only 3mm in diameter. The prototypes run on butane, although any fuel, including clean hydrogen, can be used to power the engine.
