Cognibotics

Cognibotics creates patented calibration methods and kinematic calibration hardware to increase the accuracy of standard industrial robots – their cost-effective technology uses existing built-in sensors on robot arms to create detailed models of each robot joint, including properties of compliance, friction and backlash, which are the major reasons for inaccuracy of industrial robots. Cognibotics was a spinoff from research at Lund University in Sweden.
